On or before May 31, 2027: Families will receive a full refund, less $2,550 for each participant, which includes $2,050 to cover the cost of the group flights and a $500 nonrefundable fee. The amount of any refund will be credited to the family’s account.

If instead of issuing a monetary refund an airline provides a voucher for future travel, the voucher will be forwarded to the participant’s family.
The only time we were unable to operate a Seminar program was in 2020, when we could not bring teens to Israel due to COVID-19. Our foremost priority remains the safety of our participants together with the critical mission of bringing our teens to Israel*

Scholarships & Grants
RootOne
All participants residing in North America will be eligible for a RootOne* Voucher subsidy in the amount of $3,000 this coming kayitz, to ensure greater participation in Ramah Israel Seminar! This significant reduction to our price will enable us to connect, explore and grow together in Israel. More information regarding this subsidy to follow. By opting into this voucher, participants will be expected to participate in online Seminar-related assignments prior to the summer. Participants who do not complete their 18 “nedukot” (approximately 8-10 hours of learning), will not receive this grant.
In order to receive a RootOne voucher, participants must be:
- Jewish
- Reside in North America
- Have not previously received a RootOne voucher
- Complete 18 Nekudot of learning hours
*RootOne is seeded through the generosity of The Marcus Foundation and is powered by The Jewish Education Project. Please visit RootOne.org for more information.
Masa Grant
This grant is available to participants who meet the following criteria:
Are Jewish
Reside in North America
Do not hold Israeli citizenship OR left Israel before the age of 14 and have lived outside of Israel for at least four consecutive years prior to receiving the grant
Have not participated in a Masa program lasting 6–8 weeks within the past year
Important notes:
Participants must complete the Masa grant application on the Masa website (link to be provided by the Ramah Israel registrar) by April 1 in order to receive this grant. Families who miss this deadline will have the $3,150 fee added to their account, and participants will not be able to join Seminar without full payment.
Ramah Seminar Masa participants remain eligible for all long-term Masa programs (e.g., gap year programs).
Ramah Seminar Masa participants are not eligible to receive Masa funding for Onward or other Masa programs lasting 6–8 weeks. However, they may still register for these programs and simply pay out-of-pocket for the portion that would have been covered by the Masa grant.
Ramah Scholarship Fund
Ramah Israel and the Ramah Camps are strongly committed to making Seminar accessible to all participants, no matter the financial barrier. To this end, we have developed the Seminar Scholarship Fund, which will enable deserving participants, who would otherwise be unable, to come to Israel.
Scholarship applications will be reviewed only upon receiving initial $500 deposit.
Families are required to pay a minimum of $2,550 ($500 deposit + $2,050 group flight) by January 20 to be eligible for a Ramah Israel Scholarship. If a family receives generous external scholarships that exceed their total Seminar payments, we will follow this process:
- Ramah Israel will first refund families an amount that reduces their total payments to $2,550.
- The Ramah Israel Scholarship will be adjusted by the remaining difference (down to zero).
- If the Ramah Israel Scholarship is fully covered by external funds, we will refund any additional amount to the family.

Canadian residents are eligible for a $1,000 USD discount due to the exchange rates.
This discount is only available to Canadian citizens who are living in Canada.
Conditions
All applications will be reviewed by the Seminar team, in consultation with the North American Ramah camp directors. Ramah Seminar reserves the right to deny enrollment should the program deem that a participant cannot abide by the rules and standards of behavior as specified by Ramah Israel. Additionally, Ramah Seminar reserves the right to require a detailed report from a doctor and/or therapist; furthermore, Ramah reserves the right not to accept an application should our medical consultants decide that an applicant is not physically or emotionally capable.
Please note that tuition has been set with consideration of anticipated 2027 prices in land and travel costs. If a significant change occurs in costs, an adjustment to tuition may be made to offer the program without compromising its quality.
